The Healthy Eating Pattern is a PowerPoint presentation used as a stand alone learning activity. Within the presentation you will see examples of exploring attitude (slide 2), problem-solving (9 - 11), goal setting (slide 19)
This proposed family-inclusive program targets youth with the goal of increasing fiber intake. Experiential learning (slides 12 &15) and goal setting (slides 12 & 15) are demonstrated in the strategic plan. Intensive programming is associated with improved outcomes for behavior change.
In this YouTube video, viewers are provided with instruction on how to meal plan using five easy steps. This resource offers an on-demand, informal learning opportunity. With the tools provided, the goal is to help the learner meal plan through problem-solving. More specifically, the five steps demonstrate means-end analysis. The larger problem of meal-planning is broken down into more manageable tasks. You'll also note the beginning of the presentation touches on motivation behind meal-planning.
